You can always be assured that our staff members are readily available to help in any way we can. However, patients are responsible for understanding their medical insurance policies especially in regard to their own insurance plan deductibles, co-insurances, and referral requirements.
When necessary, patients are responsible for obtaining referrals from their Primary Care Physician (PCP) prior to their scheduled appointment with the Family Dermatology & Laser Center.
We will call the day prior to confirm your appointment. If we are unable to reach you, a voicemail will be left.
We also respectfully ask all patients to notify us within one business day if they need to cancel an appointment. Appointments are in high demand and this courtesy will allow us the opportunity to make arrangements with patients who are waiting to be seen sooner.
If you call to reschedule your appointment and do not reach a receptionist, please leave a detailed message on our voicemail and someone will return your call to reschedule your appointment.
Please note that we have a different policy for canceling surgical and cosmetic appointments. Please contact the office for further information.
What to Bring
We require that you bring the following items to your visit:
- Insurance card
- Identification card
- Co-pay for insurance patients, full payment for self-pay patients
- Credit card for patients with high-deductible plans
- Referral or Insurance Authorization if required by insurance company.
If you do not bring the above items with you, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
